FORKD began on a lark via Instagram, January 16, 2018, as an anti-brand, if you will, to the host of Los Angeles food and dining brands and their prefab allegiance to the restaurant and not the customer – posting what I know from working in the kitchens of many of LA’s more notable eateries.

It clearly started gaining clout, when in December of that year, Bottega Louie was so threatened by a post exposing them for homophobia they reported it to IG for hate speech (their own) and I was shadowbanned for over a month.

Now that forkdla.com has finally launched, I’m no longer under the censoring and hypocritical eye of Mark Fuckerberg’s faltering platforms and his bot police; nor do I have to compete with underwear ‘models’ and content farm collectives posting the same three pics daily all for the algorithm.

Forkdla.com is where I share easy-to-follow RECIPES, expose the worst of LA’s restaurants in RANTS from behind the kitchen and REVIEWS of the best eateries in and around Los Angeles County.

Because despite what you hear, and what you may think. LA…it’s not a food town; it’s a drug and alcohol town.
